  21 from 7 to 8 p.m.\n\nReceiving a genetic diagnosis (or lacking a diagno
 sis) for a child can be a profoundly life-altering experience for families
 .\n\nTake a deeper dive into this experience with licensed genetic counsel
 or Mary-Frances Garber\, MS\, CGC.\n\nMary-Frances will draw on her extens
 ive experience working with parents and caregivers to explore the complex 
 emotional responses that emerge as families learn to live with a diagnosis
  or uncertainty and build their “new normal.”\n\nJoin Mary-Frances and
  this panel of parents\, Dr. Tasha Faruqui\, Joanne Huff\, and Naomi Will
 iams\, as they explore the realities of accepting versus adjusting to thei
 r child’s medical complexity while navigating its challenges.\n\nThe dis
 cussion will include:\n\n 	The difference between emotional adjustment and
  acceptance in the context of a child’s genetic diagnosis.\n 	The emotio
 nal responses and coping strategies parents may experience over time.\n 	H
