DESCRIPTION:A free\, four-part webinar series to help families better under
 stand their child’s IEP and participate confidently in the special educa
 tion process\n\nFamily Matters Parent Training and Information Center (FMP
 TIC) will host "Fall Into the IEPs: Four-Part Family Lunch and Learn Serie
 s." Sessions will take place every other Thursday from Sept. 24 through No
 v. 5 from 12 to 1 p.m.\n\nThe series will wrap up with "Session 4: From Co
 ncerns to Action: Working With Your Child’s IEP (Individualized Educatio
 n Program) Team" on Nov. 5.\n\nThrough four practical\, family-friendly se
 ssions\, participants will gain an understanding of their child’s IEP an
 d be able to participate confidently in the special education process. Eac
 h session will provide help for understanding\, monitoring\, preparing for
 \, and addressing concerns about their child’s IEP.\n\nWhat can families
  do when they have concerns about their child’s IEP\, services\, progres
 s\, or supports?\n\nThis session will focus on turning concerns into clear
 \, specific requests and productive communication with the IEP team.\n\nFa
 milies will cover topics\, including:\n\n 	The importance of documenting c
 ommunication\n 	Following up after conversations and meetings\n 	Keeping t
 rack of concerns and responses.\n\nThe session will also introduce steps f
 amilies can consider when concerns remain unresolved or disagreements with
