 g your family safe during a disaster for parents with disabilities\n\nThe 
 National Research Center for Parents with Disabilities and the Lurie Insti
 tute for Disability Policy will host "Disaster Preparedness for Parents wi
 th Disabilities" on Zoom on July 21 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.\n\nParents wit
 h disabilities need to keep themselves and their children safe during a di
 saster.\n\nJoin Shari Myers and Melissa Marshall from the Partnership for 
 Inclusive Disaster Strategies to learn about emergency preparedness best p
 ractices for disabled parents and their families.\n\nShari and Melissa wil
 l discuss:\n\n 	Building a realistic emergency kit\n 	Sheltering in place\
 n 	Knowing your rights as a disabled person during a disaster\n\nThe prese
 ntation will also feature National Research Center for Parents with Disabi
 lities' advisory board members Judy Brown and Morénike Giwa-Onaiwu.\n\nJu
 dy and Morénike will share their personal experiences with emergency prep
 aredness and disaster response.\n\nRegister for "Disaster Preparedness for
