SUMMARY:Virtual - Advocate Children's Hospital Sibshops for Teens
DESCRIPTION:Free\, virtual educational and activity-based group for teens a
 ges 12 and up who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic co
 ndition\n\nAdvocate Children's Hospital's virtual fall "Sibshops for Teens
 " will kick off on Sept. 25. The monthly Friday night sessions are from 5 
 to 6:30 p.m. Sessions will also meet on Oct. 9 and Nov. 13.\n\n"Sibshops 
 for Teens" offer peer support and fun\, educational activities for teens w
 ho have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition.\n\nSib
 shops is a program of the National Sibling Support Project. Organizations 
 nationwide run Sibshops to recognize and address the lifelong and ever-cha
 nging concerns of millions of siblings of people with developmental\, heal
 th and mental health concerns.\n\nTeens ages 12 and up can have the opport
 unity to:\n\n 	Make new friends\n 	Play games\n 	Share experiences\, joys 
 and concerns\n\nThe Sibshops sessions are free and take place on Zoom.\n\n
