DESCRIPTION:A free monthly advocacy group where youth ages 14 to 22 will ex
 plore their transition plans and build confidence for life after high scho
 ol\n\nJoin Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center for its v
 irtual "Charting My Course: Youth Advocacy Group." The group meets on Zoom
  on the second Thursday of each month.\n\nEnjoy meeting with peers\, learn
 ing about transition planning and building confidence for life after high 
 school.\n\nAll meetings are virtual and will focus on helping participants
 :\n\n 	Understand their transition plan\n 	Share their voice in Individual
  Education Program (IEP) meetings\n 	Explore future goals for school\, wor
 k and independence\n 	Use CtLC (Charting the LifeCourse) tools to plan for
  a “good life”\n 	Connect with helpful adult services and supports\n\n
 The group is free and open to all Illinois youth ages 14 to 22.\n\nSee the
