DESCRIPTION:Weekly cognition\, behavior and mindfulness camp featuring inte
 ractive group sessions for children ages 5 to 16 with autism and other dev
 elopmental disabilities\n\nThe University of Illinois Chicago's (UIC) Inst
 itute on Disability and Human Development will host "Cognition Behavior an
 d Mindfulness Clinic Summer Camp" from June 15 to June 26 (no camp on June
  19 in observance of Juneteenth) at the Cognition Behavior and Mindfulness
  Clinic\,1640 W. Roosevelt Road\, in Chicago. Camp sessions will run from 
 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.:\n\n 	Week 1: June 15 -18 (no camp on Juneteenth)\n 	Wee
 k 2: June 22-26\n\nCamp will offer interactive group sessions for students
  ages 5 to 16 with autism and other disabilities.\n\nCampers will practice
  mindfulness and social skills\, including:\n\n 	Focusing\, concentrating 
 and solving problems\n 	Managing emotions and making wise choices\n 	Payin
 g attention to their inner self\n 	Appreciating others and enjoying the wo
 rld around them\n\nCamp is $30 per day. Week one is $120 per camper. Week 
 two is $150 per week per camper.\n\nPlease fill out the Mindfulness Clinic
  Summer Camp online interest form. Please note that space is limited and t
 hat completing the interest form does not guarantee enrollment.\n\nThe Cog
 nition Behavior and Mindfulness (CBM) Clinic is a multidisciplinary resear
 ch\, training and clinical program that provides high-quality\, evidence-b
 ased behavior intervention services to children with autism and other deve
