DESCRIPTION:Free Summer Saturdays at Sensory Garden Playground feature fun\
 , exploration and all-inclusive play!\n\nThe Wheaton Park District will ho
 st the final Summer Saturday of 2026 with a "Storybook Adventure"  on Aug
 . 15.\n\nOnce upon a time at a playground in Lisle\, Ill.\, there was a gr
 and festival to tell the stories of the land!\n\nJoin with local libraries
  for fantastic storytelling fun at the playground. Activities will include
 :\n\n 	Storytelling opportunities in different parts of the playground eve
 ry 30 minutes\n 	Searching for hidden stickers of famous storybook charact
 ers throughout the playground\n 	Creating a bookmark and more!\n\nThe even
 t is free. A $5 donation per family is suggested.\n\nYou can see more deta
 ils and register online for the "Storybook Adventure."\n\nThe Summer Satur
 day event is dependent on the weather.\n\nThe Sensory Garden Playground co
 mbines sensory-integrated playground equipment with areas for gardening an
 d exploration. The Sensory Garden Playground is autism-friendly certified.
   The 37-acre facility is being developed in phases as funding becomes av
 ailable.
