 ties in Ingleside
DESCRIPTION:Overnight camp opportunities for adults with intellectual disab
 ilities aged 23 and older.\n\nSpecial Camps is an overnight\, all-voluntee
 r-run camp for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.\n\nWhil
 e families and caregivers get a week-long respite\, trained staff and 24-h
 our nursing provide a safe place for campers to explore:\n\n 	New opportun
 ities\n 	Independence and self-esteem\n 	Friendships\n\nSpecial Camps will
  host an overnight camp session for adults ages 23 and older from June 7 t
 o 12.\n\nCampers will be divided into groups according to age.\n\nActiviti
 es will include:\n\n 	Swimming in a heated pool\n 	A rope course\, climbin
 g wall and zipline\n 	Archery and outdoor sports\n 	Canoeing and fishing\n
  	Arts and crafts\n 	Hayrides\, campfire songs and s’mores\n\nThe cost i
 s $1\,200 per week. A limited number of partial scholarships are available
