DESCRIPTION:Families and their children with disabilities can laugh\, sing 
 along and enjoy Disney characters at this free\, sensory-friendly performa
 nce!\n\nJoin the Children's Theatre of Elgin (CTE) and Fox Valley Theatre 
 Company for a sensory-friendly performance of Disney's "The Descendants: T
 he Musical" on Saturday\, April 18\, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.\n\nThis se
 nsory performance will provide a positive experience for people who are ne
 urodivergent\, have epilepsy\, autism or prefer a less intense sensory exp
 erience. It will include:\n\n 	Lights on\n 	Lower sounds\n 	Fewer special 
 effects\n\nImprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamou
 s villains who ever lived – the teenage children of Maleficent\, the Evi
 l Queen\, Jafar\, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island un
 til now.\n\nSee what happens when the troublemakers are sent to attend pre
 p school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes. Will they follow
  in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?\n\nThe show is 
 jam-packed with:\n\n 	Comedy\n 	Adventure\n 	Disney characters\n 	Hit song
 s from the films\n\nThis performance is for individuals requiring any acco
 mmodations and their families.\n\nRegister for the sensory-friendly perfor
 mance of Disney's "The Descendants: The Musical."  The performance is fre
 e\, but CTE suggests a $10 donation at the door to help with production co
 sts. CTE will accept cash or Venmo.\n\nAn American Sign Language-interpret
 ed version of Disney's "The Descendants: The Musical" will take place on A
