DESCRIPTION:Free opportunity for individuals with sensory sensitivities\, d
 isabilities\, chronic illness or who are deaf and hard of hearing to exper
 ience the zoo\n\nJoin Lincoln Park Zoo for "Sensory-Friendly Day at Farm-i
 n-the-Zoo" on June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.\n\nSensory-Friendly Day at Fa
 rm-in-the-Zoo is for people of all ages who benefit from visiting the zoo 
 without crowds and other sensory triggers.\n\nIndividuals with a wide rang
 e of sensory sensitivities\, such as autism\, post-traumatic stress disord
 er (PTSD)\, dementia and other disabilities can enjoy exploring the zoo:\n
 \n 	In a comfortable and inclusive environment\n 	With fewer people and no
  large crowds\n 	With the music and noise levels lowered or turned off for
  activities such as the train and carousel\n\nLow-sensory activities will 
 also be available.\n\nSee the zoo’s accessibility page to help plan your
  visit.\n\nNot all animal buildings may be open. Some animals may not be i
 n their public viewing spaces. The zoo will open to the public and begin 
 typical operations at 10 a.m.\n\nThe event is free\, but you must register
