SUMMARY:Sailing Camps for Youth With Autism in Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Free three-day sailing camps for youth ages 10 to 17 with autis
 m\n\nSpectrum Sailing camps provide opportunities for youth on the autism 
 spectrum to develop skills\, socialize and build confidence.\n\nSpectrum S
 ailing will offer its summer sailing camps from June 16-18. Half-day camp 
 sessions will run in the morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or in the afternoo
 n from 1 to 4 p.m. at:\n\n 	Chicago Montrose Harbor\, 601 W Montrose Ave.\
 , Chicago\, IL 60613\n 	Chicago Jackson Park\, 6400 S Promontory Drive\, C
 hicago\, IL 60649\n\nParents will drop off and pick up their sailors at th
 e same time each day.\n\nDuring each session\, sailors will learn:\n\n 	Ho
 w to tie knots\n 	Sailing fundamentals\n 	Safety on the water\n 	How to sa
 il and have fun!\n\nSpectrum Sailing camps are free to attend for all camp
 ers.\n\nRegister for Spectrum Sailing Camps and see more details. Please i
 ndicate on your application form whether you prefer the morning (9 a.m. to
  12 p.m.) or afternoon (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) session.\n\nThe camp will enter 
 completed applications into the camp lottery.  The camp will notify all p
 arents by May 16\, 2026\, if their child is selected to attend camp. The c
 amp will notify those not selected and place them on a waitlist.\n\nThe Ch
 icago Corinthian Yacht Club hosts the Chicago Montrose Harbor camps. The J
 ackson Park Yacht Club and Chicago Park District host the Chicago Jackson
