 ober with a free\, four-part parent webinar series packed with practical t
 ools to support learning\n\nJoin Family Matters Parent Training and Inform
 ation Center and the Illinois SLD Support Project for its four-part learn
 ing disability webinar series from Oct. 6 to Oct. 27. Virtual sessions wil
 l take place every Tuesday in October from 6 to 7 p.m.\n\nThe series will 
 kick off with "Introduction to Specific Learning Disabilities: A Guide for
  Parents" on Oct. 6.\n\nPresenter Robin Thoma will help parents and caregi
 vers build a deeper understanding of specific learning disabilities (SLD).
 \n\nRobin will provide a clear definition of SLD and also explore:\n\n 	Ke
 y characteristics\n 	Effective ways to support learning\n 	Practical accom
 modations\n 	Strategies to support students with SLD\n\nThe webinar series
  is free. Parents and caregivers can attend one session or join the entire
