SUMMARY:Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association Day Camps
DESCRIPTION:Day camp opportunities for early childhood\, youth\, teens and 
 young adults with disabilities\n\nNorthern Illinois Special Recreation Ass
 ociation (NISRA) will host day camp sessions at several locations from Jun
 e 15 to July 30. Camps are held Monday through Thursday.\n\nNISRA serves r
 esidents with disabilities in 13 communities in McHenry County and parts o
 f Cook\, Lake and Kane counties.\n\nCamp registration is available in two 
 sessions:\n\n 	Session 1: June 15 – July 2\n 	Session 2:  July 6 – Ju
 ly 30\n\nFamilies can register their camper for one or both sessions. Firs
 t-year campers will need an assessment.\n\nCampers ages 3 to 23 with disab
 ilities will enjoy:\n\n 	Growing in self-esteem\n 	Developing physical ski
 lls\n 	Creating arts and crafts\n 	Making friends\n 	Learning games and so
 ngs\n 	Swimming and experiencing new places\n\nNISRA camps are not an exte
 nsion of the special education curriculum.\n\nSee NISRA's Summer Day Camp 
 brochure for costs\, locations\, schedules and other details. Information 
 is available in English and Spanish.\n\nRegistrants must complete their re
 gistration online through WebTrac or in person at the NISRA office during 
 business hours. NISRA will not accept registration forms through email\, f
 ax or the NISRA drop box.\n\nRegister for NISRA 2026 Day Camps. The deadli
