DESCRIPTION:An overnight camp for youth with severe medical challenges and 
 their siblings that celebrates differences\, facilitates friendships and s
 upports every camper\n\nNorth Star Reach is a fully accessible medical cam
 p that serves children with significant health challenges and their famili
 es at no cost. It is located in Pinckney\, Mich.\n\nNorth Star Reach will 
 host "Summer Resident Camp Session 1" from June 14 -19. This "blended diag
 nosis" session is for campers with various diagnoses and their siblings.\n
 \nKids will experience the full magic of camp in a setting designed just f
 or them! Experienced staff and licensed medical professionals work togethe
 r to ensure every camper’s medical\, emotional and social needs are met 
 safely and thoughtfully.\n\nThe camp welcomes children with:\n\n 	Solid or
 gan transplants\n 	Heart disease\n 	Epilepsy\n 	Sickle cell disease\n\nChi
 ldren ages 7 to15 (by the first day of the session) who have a qualifying 
 medical diagnosis and their siblings are welcome.\n\nWith on-site medical 
 support\, accessible facilities and individualized care\, campers can focu
 s on what matters most—being kids and having fun!\n\nCampers will experi
 ence:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Boating and waterfront fun\n
  	Archery\n 	Campfires and s’mores\n 	Games\n 	Building independence\, f
 riendships and more!\n\nNorth Star Reach summer camp is entirely free of c
 harge. Applications are reviewed based on medical needs\, space and staffi
 ng ratios.\nPlease note that the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illino
 is (SCDAI) will provide sickle cell warriors in the Chicago area help with
  camp transportation. This transportation assistance is only available for
