DESCRIPTION:A free overnight camping experience for children with neuromusc
 ular disease between the ages of 8 and 17\n\nCampers can join the Muscular
  Dystrophy Association (MDA) at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center in Hudson\, I
 ll.\, from July 19 to 24.\n\nMDA Summer Camp will provide participants an 
 opportunity to:\n\n 	Discover new interests\n 	Gain self-confidence\n 	Mak
 e lifelong friendships\n 	Experience the independence of being away from h
 ome in a safe\, inclusive environment\n\nCamper will enjoy activities adap
 ted for all abilities\, including:\n\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Sports and game
 s\n 	Boating and swimming\n 	Other traditional camp activities\n\nCampers 
 are paired with camp counselors to help with activities of daily living an
 d personal care.\n\nThere is no cost to families.\n\nFor more information
