DESCRIPTION:A free leadership and training camp for teens in the United Sta
 tes and Canada ages 16 or 17 who are legally blind\n\nLeader Dogs for the 
 Blind is hosting "Teen Summer Camp" for youth who are blind from June 23 -
  29.\n\nLeader Dogs empowers people who are blind or visually impaired wit
 h lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. Its Teen Summer C
 amp combines fun with exploring mobility options.\n\nThe camp is free for 
 teens ages 16 or 17 who are legally blind\, even if they don't plan to tra
 in with a guide dog.\n\nCamp activities will include:\n\n 	Building friend
 ships with peers facing similar challenges\n 	Learning how to use an acces
 sible GPS\n 	Practicing orientation\, mobility and night travel skills\n 	
 Tandem biking\, rock wall climbing\, zip lining\, beep kickball and more!\
 n\nCampers will receive a free HumanWare GPS to help increase their travel
  independence and experience a day working one-on-one with a guide dog mob
 ility instructor and Leader Dog (guide dog).\n\nThe camp is free and inclu
 des public transportation to and from the camper's home to Leader Dogs for
  the Blind’s Rochester Hills campus\, accommodations and meals.\n\nDownl
