DESCRIPTION:A free open house event to learn about the wide array of assist
 ive technology\, services and programs available to Illinois residents.\n\
 nThe Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP) in Springfield will host
  its Open House and Resource Fair on Oct. 26. There are two opportunities 
 to check out all IATP offers:\n\n 	9 a.m. to 12 p.m.\n 	3 to 6 p.m.\n\nIAT
 P serves Illinois residents of all ages with disabilities and/or health co
 nditions\, as well as their family members\, friends and caregivers. Parti
 cipants can:\n\n 	Explore the Demonstration Center's accessible tech kitch
 en\, interactive smart home and makers fabrication lab\n 	Talk one-on-one 
 with staff about assistive technology (AT) devices\, programs and services
 \n 	Connect with other resources in the community\n 	Learn about the durab
 le medical equipment program and how to donate\n\nJoin this event to visit
  with staff and learn more about IATP's wide array of assistive technology
