DESCRIPTION:A free community event for people of all ages and abilities to 
 raise awareness and provide information about Autism Acceptance Month and 
 Child Abuse Prevention Month\n\nThe Elgin Police Department and the Autism
  Hero Project will host the annual "Heroes Unite Autism Acceptance and Chi
 ld Abuse Prevention Celebration" on April 25 from 1 to 4 p.m.\n\nActivitie
 s will take place both inside and outside the Elgin Police Department.\n\n
 Visitors can:\n\n 	Spend time exploring activities\n 	Have fun together\n 
 	Raise awareness for people living with autism\n 	Learn how everyone can h
 elp prevent child abuse\n\nParticipants can sign up for Family Finder\, Pr
 emise Alert and Simulated Traffic Stops. Other activities will include:\n\
 n 	Sensory areas\n 	More than 50 vendors and family resources\n 	Games\, m
 agic shows and a petting zoo\n 	Glowby the Bubbler\, face painting and an 
 art installation\n 	Music and entertainment\n 	Gaming mobile truck for up 
 to 20 players\n 	Free popcorn\, ice cream and more!\n\nYou can also regist
 er to attend a free Traffic Stop Simulation Scenarios session with first r
