SUMMARY:Free Virtual and In-Person Family Sign Language Classes in Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Free virtual and in-person sign language classes in English and
  Spanish will begin in August\n\nThe Chicago Hearing Society (CHS) will p
 rovide Family American Sign Language (ASL) classes in both English and Spa
 nish from August through September.\n\nThe classes are free to family memb
 ers of children from birth through high school who are deaf\, deafblind or
  hard of hearing. Extended family members are also welcome. You do not hav
 e to be an Illinois resident to participate.\n\nClass instructors are deaf
  and communicate using ASL and written English. The classes will not use a
 ny sound or audio.\n\nOne in-person Family Beginner's class in English wil
 l meet at the CHS Office on 2017 N. Mendell\, Suite 3NE\, in Chicago. This
  class will meet on Wednesdays\, Aug. 13 through Sept. 17\, from 5 to 6 p.
 m.\n\n 	Register for the in-person Family Beginners class in English.\n\nA
 ll other family classes are online only:\n\n 	The Spanish Family ASL Class
  will meet on Tuesdays\, Aug. 12 to Sept. 16\, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.\n\n 
 	Register for the Family Class in Spanish (Clases de Lenguaje de Senas Ame
 ricano (ASL) en Espanol).\n\n\n 	The English Beginner and Beyond Beginner 
 ASL classes will meet on Wednesdays from Aug. 13 to Sept. 17.\n\n 	The Beg
 inners class is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Register for the Family Beginners c
 lass in English.\n 	The Beyond Beginners class is from 7 to 8 p.m. Registe
 r for the Family Beyond Beginners ASL class in English.\n\n\n\nSee the Fam
