SUMMARY:Free Virtual and In-Person Family Sign Language Classes in Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Free virtual and in-person sign language classes in English and
  Spanish will begin in April\n\nThe Chicago Hearing Society (CHS) will pro
 vide Family American Sign Language (ASL) classes in both English and Spani
 sh from April through May.\n\nThe classes are free to family members of ch
 ildren from birth through high school who are deaf\, deafblind or hard of 
 hearing. Extended family members are also welcome. You do not have to be a
 n Illinois resident to participate.\n\nClass instructors are deaf and comm
 unicate using ASL and written English. The classes will not use any sound 
 or audio.\n\nOne in-person Family Beyond Beginner's class in English will 
 meet at the CHS Office on 2017 N. Mendell\, Suite 3NE\, in Chicago. Class 
 will meet on Mondays\, April 6 through May 11\, from 6:30 to 7:30  p.m.\n
 \n 	Register for the in-person Family Beyond Beginners class in English.\n
 \nAll other family classes are online only:\n\n 	The Spanish Family ASL Cl
 ass will meet on Tuesdays\, April 7 to May 12\, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.\n\n
  	Register for the Family Class in Spanish (Clases de Lenguaje de Senas Am
 ericano (ASL) en Espanol).\n\n\n 	The English Beginner ASL class will meet
  on Wednesdays\, April 15 to May 20\, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.\n\n 	Register
  for the Family Beginners class in English.\n\n\n 	The English Beyond Begi
 nners class will meet on Thursdays\, April 9 through May 21\, from 5:30 to
  6:30 p.m.\n\n 	Register for the Family Beyond Beginners ASL class in Engl
 ish.\n\n\n\nSee the Family Sign Language class schedule for all class deta
