SUMMARY:DuPage Children's Museum Adaptive Play Time in Naperville
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for families of children with disabilities to ex
 perience the museum with fewer guests and a less stimulating environment\n
 \nThe DuPage Children's Museum (DCM) in Naperville will host an "Adaptive 
 Play Time" event on May 6 from 8 to 9 a.m.\n\nFamilies of children with di
 sabilities\, on the autism spectrum and/or with sensory sensitivities can 
 spend time exploring and learning together.\n\nGuests can enjoy exhibits f
 eaturing hands-on ways to play and create with:\n\n 	Fewer guests\n 	Lower
  lighting\n 	Visual cues in exhibits\n 	A respite room for sensory breaks\
 n\nDedicated DCM staff and volunteers will provide a supportive environmen
 t. Sensory Kits with noise-reduction headphones\, fidget objects\, weighte
 d neck wraps\, timers\, and more are also available.\n\nTickets are $22 pe
 r person. Infants under 1 year old and DCM Members are free. Financial ass
 istance is available.\n\nRegister for "Adaptive Play Time" on DCM's websit
