SUMMARY:DuPage Children's Museum Adaptive Play Time
DESCRIPTION:An opportunity for families of children with disabilities to ex
 perience the museum with fewer guests and a less stimulating environment\n
 \nThe DuPage Children's Museum (DCM) in Naperville will host an "Adaptive 
 Play Time" event on June 3 from 8 to 9 a.m.\n\nFamilies of children with d
 isabilities\, on the autism spectrum and/or with sensory sensitivities can
  spend time exploring and learning together.\n\nGuests can enjoy exhibits 
 featuring hands-on ways to play and create with:\n\n 	Fewer guests\n 	Lowe
 r lighting\n 	Visual cues in exhibits\n 	A respite room for sensory breaks
 \n\nDedicated DCM staff and volunteers will provide a supportive environme
 nt. Sensory Kits with noise-reduction headphones\, fidget objects\, weight
 ed neck wraps\, timers\, and more are also available.\n\nTickets are $22 p
 er person. Infants under 1 year old and DCM members are free. Financial as
 sistance is available.\n\nRegister for "Adaptive Play Time" on DCM's websi
