 86 will host its second annual "Community Back-to-School Event" on July 30
  from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Scheels Sports Park at Legacy Pointe in Springfiel
 d.\n\nThis free community event aims to help families prepare for a succes
 sful school year and connect with valuable resources and organizations fro
 m across the Springfield area.\n\nActivities will include:\n\n 	Visiting w
 ith more than 60 community vendors and exhibitors offering resources and s
 upport for students\, families and educators\n 	Exploring a wide variety o
 f community services\, educational opportunities and health and wellness r
 esources and programs\n 	Receiving free school supplies and backpacks\, fo
 od and treats (while supplies last)\n 	Experiencing interactive activities
  for children and hands-on opportunities to connect with District 186 staf
 f and community partners\n\nThis free\, one-stop destination is open to Di
 strict186 students and their families\, as well as community members\, to 
 learn about community resources and prepare for the upcoming school year.\

 supplies last.
