  Parents and Caregivers of Children Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing
DESCRIPTION:A free in-person conference at multiple Illinois sites for pare
 nts of children who are deaf and hard of hearing\n\nJoin the Illinois Scho
 ol for the Deaf Outreach Services for the “South of Eighty” Conference
  for Parents of Children Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing on Sept. 13 from
  8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.\n\nParents and caregivers of children who are deaf
  and hard of hearing (DHH) will attend sessions focused on:\n\nSession top
 ics will focus on:\n\n 	Early intervention\n 	Preschool\n 	School success\
 n\nDHH youth 13 and older and professionals working with children with hea
 ring impairments are also welcome to attend the conference.\n\nThe confere
 nce is free and in-person only.\n\nFree childcare will be available for ch
 ildren ages 3 to 12. Childcare is free\, but participants must register.\n
 \nPlease submit any accommodation requests at least three weeks before the
  event date. American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be available a
 t all three conferences.\n\nRegister online for the “South of Eighty”
