DESCRIPTION:Have fun carving pumpkins together at this free family-friendly
  event near the Carillon at Washington Park\n\nThe Springfield Park Distri
 ct will host "Carve for the Carillon" on Oct. 10 and 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 
 p.m. near the Thomas Reese Memorial Carillon in Washington Park. Carving w
 ill take place on both days while supplies last.\n\nEveryone in the commun
 ity is invited to carve!\n\nBring your favorite carving tools and ideas\, 
 and help create one-of-a-kind glowing pumpkins for the "Jack-O-Lantern Spe
 ctacular" on Friday\, Oct. 16\, through Saturday\, Oct. 17.\n\nFree pumpki
 ns will be available for carving and decorating each day while supplies la
