Check-in is on July 5 at 6 p.m. Check-out i s on July 10 at 2 p.m.\n\nCamp Launch is a fun\, innovative overnight camp for youth between the ages of 14 to 22 who are deaf\, deaf-blind or hard of hearing. It aims to equip campers with the skills needed to successfull y navigate life after high school.\n\nCampers will participate in various activities designed to help them transition from high school to college an d employment. Activities will include:\n\n Group instruction and individu alized coaching to develop interpersonal skills for college\, work and bey ond\n Twenty-four career-related assessments\n Learning about self-advoc acy and practicing new skills\n Presentations from guest speakers who are deaf\n\nCampers can also enjoy:\n\n Staying in SIUE residence halls with chaperones\n Exploring the campus\n Taking field trips\n Making art pr ojects\, games and other recreational activities\n Eating together at the Morris University Center\n\nCamp Launch is free.
