  Type 1 diabetes\n\nJoin Camp B.E.T.A. (Believe. Empower. Talk. Act.) on S
 ept. 19-20.\n\nYouth ages 10 to 16 (in third through 11th grades) with Typ
 e 1 diabetes will have fun:\n\n 	Hanging out with others with Type 1 diabe
 tes\n 	Building confidence and skills\n 	Making new friends\n\nCamp activi
 ties will include:\n\n 	Hiking and orienteering\n 	Boating\n 	Arts and cra
 fts\n 	Archery and more!\n\nCamp BETA is a free experience for area youth 
 with Type 1 diabetes.\n\nRegister online for Camp BETA.\n\nThe camp is a c
 ollaboration between Southern Illinois Healthcare\, the Diabetes Today Res
