DESCRIPTION:A conference on autism inclusion\, neurodiversity in the workpl
 ace and more for parents\, caregivers and teachers\n\nThe Autism Professio
 nal Learning and Universal Supports Project (A+)\, the Autism Training and
  Technical Assistance Project (ATTA)\, Autism McLean and the Illinois Stat
 e Board of Education (ISBE) will host the Autism Conference 2026 "Sharing 
 Knowledge\, Inspiring Action" on April 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at B
 one Student Center on the Illinois State University campus.\n\nThe confere
 nce brings together educators\, families\, caregivers and professionals fo
 r a day of meaningful learning and connection.\n\nKeynote speaker Kate Swe
 nson is a bestselling author and creator of Finding Cooper’s Voice. Beyo
 nd her writing\, Kate co-founded The More Than Project\, a nonprofit provi
 ding free mental health counseling to caregivers. She will discuss the fam
 ily lived experience\, professional practice\, parenting\, autism\, and th
 e importance of inclusive\, supportive communities.\n\nOther learning oppo
 rtunities will include:\n\n 	Lived experience  and parent panels\n 	Repea
 ted breakout sessions\n 	A mini-workshop on “Today’s ABA” presented 
 by Dr. Adithyan Rajaraman\, PhD\, BCBA-D of FTF Behavioral Consulting\n 	D
 edicated time to visit exhibitors\n 	Networking and connecting across pers
 pectives and stages of the autism journey\n\nThe cost is $75 per person.\n
 \nRegistration includes a full breakfast buffet\, lunch buffet and parking
