DESCRIPTION:Eligible individuals with PKU or allied disorders can apply now
  for a scholarship to an accredited college\, university or vocational sch
 ool\n\nThe PKU (phenylketonuria) Organization of Illinois is taking applic
 ations for its Andrew Craig Memorial Scholarship through Sept. 30 at midni
 ght.\n\nThe PKU Organization of Illinois awards annual education scholarsh
 ips of up to $2\,000 to eligible individuals with PKU or allied disorders.
   Applicants can use scholarship funds for school expenses such as course
  fees\, textbooks and room and board.\n\nEligibility requirements include:
 \n\n 	Having a diagnosis of PKU or an allied disorder\n 	Currently residin
 g in Illinois\n 	Being enrolled at an accredited college\, university or v
 ocational school for the fall semester\n\nA student may receive more than 
 one scholarship during their secondary education\, but not in consecutive 
 years.\n\nThe organization's board of directors will consider all applicat
 ions meeting the required criteria. Scholarship winners will receive an em
 ail notification and an invitation to attend the PKU Organization of Illin
 ois Annual Meeting for recognition by the Board of Directors and the PKU/A
