DESCRIPTION:Free educational and activity-based group for children ages 6 t
 o 11 who have a brother or sister with a disability or chronic condition\n
 \nAdvocate Children's Hospital will host "Sibshops" for children Oct. 3 fr
 om 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Park Ridge.\n\n"Sibshops" offer peer support and 
 fun\, educational activities for children who have a brother or sister wit
 h a disability or chronic condition.\n\n"Sibshops" is a program of the Nat
 ional Sibling Support Project. Organizations nationwide run "Sibshops" to 
 recognize and address the lifelong and ever-changing concerns of millions 
 of siblings of people with developmental\, health and mental health concer
 ns.\n\nSiblings ages 6 to 11 attending the Park Ridge event can:\n\n 	Make
  new friends\n 	Play games\n 	Discuss and share their shared experiences\,
  joys and concerns\n\nThe session is free. Participants must register and 
 fill out the consent form to attend.\n\nTo save your spot\, please contact

 icipants will receive specific location instructions via email.\n\n"Sibsho
