 Cell Conference "Coping\, Covered &amp\; Cur(A)Tive" on May 22 from 10 a.m
 . to 4 p.m. at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center in Chicago.\n\n
 This one-day conference aims to provide a comprehensive overview of curren
 t sickle cell management strategies\, policies\, emerging therapies\, cura
 tive treatments\, and patient and provider perspectives.\n\nPatients\, car
 egivers\, medical professionals\, researchers and community leaders will e
 xplore and deepen their understanding of sickle cell disease (SCD) and sic
 kle cell trait (SCT) through:\n\n 	Learning from key experts about emergin
 g therapies and best practices in SCD management\n 	Hearing from patients 
 and caregivers about their experiences with SCD and SCT\n 	Navigating heal
 thcare and support services\n 	Networking with other families\n 	Discoveri
 ng a wide range of community resources\n\nAnyone interested in gaining a d
 eeper understanding of therapies\, resources and living with and caring fo
 r someone with SCD or SCT may attend.\n\nGeneral admission is $75. Tickets
  are $25 per person for individuals with sickle cell disease and/or their 
 caregiver.\n\nThe conference will provide a continental breakfast and lunc
