DESCRIPTION:Celebrate neurodiversity and foster hands-on\, nature-based lea
 rning at this free STEM camp for youth with autism in grades 6-12\n\nJoin 
 the Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research\, University of Wisconsi
 n-Madison\, and Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center for the "2026 Nature
 ’s Navigators STEM Camp."  Campers will arrive by 12:45 p.m. Camp will 
 run on Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. at Upham Woods Outdoor Learning Center i
 n the Wisconsin Dells:\n\n 	Sept. 12 - "MacroFun with MicroClimates"\n 	Se
 pt. 19 - " In Search of Treasure"\n 	Oct. 24 - "Decoding the Deep"\n\nNatu
 re's Navigators Camp aims to broaden science opportunities for neurodiverg
 ent youth by supporting exploration in a non-threatening\, nontraditional 
 and inclusive learning environment. Each session will focus on:\n\n 	Enjoy
 ing nature-based\, hands-on learning opportunities\n 	Exploring and encour
 aging the pursuit of STEM (science\, technology\, engineering and mathemat
 ics) degrees and careers\n 	Celebrating and embracing neurodivergence and 
 the associated unique thinking and learning of neurodivergent youth\n\nThe
  camp is open to neurodivergent youth entering grades 6–12 in the 2026-2
 7 school year. Activities will include:\n\n 	Lego robotics and snap circui
 ts\n 	Soda-mentos experiment\n 	About me Jenga\n 	Geocaching on Blackhawk 
 Island\n 	Science magic tricks and more\n\nThe camp is free\, but registra
 tion is required. Campers must be accompanied by an adult caregiver/family
