DESCRIPTION:A free\, multi-day conference for parents and caregivers of chi
 ldren ages birth to 6 years old with vision loss\n\nThe Illinois School fo
 r the Visually Impaired (ISVI) is hosting the "Parent Infant Institute/Ope
 ning Doors Program" from May 31 through June 3. Family check-in is from 2 
 to 5 p.m. on May 31.\n\nOpening Doors is a multi-day conference at ISVI fo
 r parents and caregivers of children ages 6 and younger with visual impair
 ments and other disabilities.\n\nFamilies can explore a wide range of educ
 ational opportunities\, resources and activities\, including:\n\n 	Parent 
 networking opportunities\n 	Hands-on\, interactive activities\n 	Sessions 
 on peer relationships\, visual impairments\, technology\, independent livi
 ng skills\, transition and more\n 	Functional Vision and Orientation and M
 obility consultation for your child\n 	Evening workshops and group discuss
 ions\n 	Evening child care and recreational programs\n\nHousing\, food and
