SUMMARY:2026 Developmental Differences Resource Fair in Chicago
DESCRIPTION:A resource fair with workshops and resources for families with 
 children with developmental differences\n\nThe Chicago non-profit  Neigh
 borhood Parents Network will host the Developmental Differences Resource F
 air on April 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Quantum LEEP Academy.\n\nThis free res
 ource fair is a one-stop shop for finding support\, connection and joy for
  families with children with developmental differences.\n\nIn addition to 
 exhibit booths where parents can get information and speak with therapy pr
 oviders and representatives\, the event has added new activities for 2026\
 , including:\n\n 	A keynote address and introductions to local providers\n
  	Parent-led round table discussions\n 	Appetizers and drinks\n\nParticipa
 nts can choose from roundtable discussion topics covering:\n\n 	Emotional 
 regulation tools\n 	Focusing on strengths rather than deficits\n 	Patholog
 ical Demand Avoidance (PDA) and school refusal\n 	Sensory profiles and mor
 e\n\nThe event is free and open to any Chicagoland families with children 
 with developmental differences.\n\nRegister online and learn more about th

 ipate in this event.\n\nTo get the most out of this event\, parents are en
 couraged to attend without their children. However\, parents who have regi
