DESCRIPTION:Annual family-focused event dedicated to learning about resourc
 es and strengthening the cerebral palsy community\n\nJoin the Washington U
 niversity School of Medicine\, Department of Neurology\, for Cerebral Pals
 y (CP) Family Day on June 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\nCP Family Day is an 
 event for area families\, caregivers and patients at the St. Louis Childre
 n’s Hospital Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Mobility Center. The event is co-
 planned with individuals who have CP and driven by community partners from
  various disciplines to help families of children with CP connect and lear
 n together.\n\nMedically trained staff from the CP Center will lead activi
 ties for children with CP and their siblings\, including:\n\n 	Creating an
 d listening to music\n 	Exploring the sensory garden\n 	Playing together\n
  	Hands-on games and activities\n\nParents and caregivers can:\n\n 	Connec
 t and sharing with other caregivers\n 	Attend presentations to help you wi
 th planning and reaching your goals at every stage\n 	Learn about financia
 l assistance\, housing and employment programs\, post-secondary education 
 and more\n 	Have fun with your children in the beautiful and accessible bo
 tanical garden\n\nFamilies living in both Illinois and Missouri are welcom
 e to attend. You do not have to be a patient at the CP Center to attend.\n
