Easterseals’ “Walk With Me: A Walk with Champions” in Normal

Fundraiser celebrates children at Easterseals and how they are a champion of their own abilities.

Easterseals Central Illinois’ eighth annual “Walk With Me: A Walk with Champions” will be held July 22 at Illinois State University Hancock Stadium.

Easterseals Central Illinois provides services to ensure that children with disabilities and their families have equal opportunity to live, learn, work, play and act in the community. This fundraiser will help support therapy for the children of Easterseals.

The event will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m., with a one-mile, family-friendly walk starting at 9:45 a.m. Every walker will be teamed with a “champion” – a local child who works or has worked with Easterseals to overcome challenges and make progress.
