Disabilities and Mental Health Community Day in Gurnee

Variety of community vendors will be on-hand to share information and resources.

The event will take place at the Gurnee Village Hall on May 19.

UIC Division of Specialized Care for Children staff will be available to speak with families about our services to help support them in the care of their child with special healthcare needs. The event will also include school district representatives to explain the pre-kindergarten screening process, mental health representatives to discuss available resources, community support and outreach groups and community advocates for disabilities and mental health.

The event is sponsored by Community Action Partnership of Lake County, Head Start.
