Board Member Honored for Rural Healthcare

Dr. Kathy Swafford, a pediatrician in Southern Illinois, honored for excellence in rural healthcare.

The Illinois Rural Health Association awarded Dr. Swafford the Rural Physician of Excellence Award on September 14, 2015. The award recognizes Dr. Swafford’s work as a board certified pediatrician and specialist in child abuse prevention and treatment in 40 counties across southern Illinois.
